LockFile provides a simple, efficient way to password-protect your files. When you right-click a file, you can choose the "Lock with Password" option to encrypt the file with a password of your choice. This encryption converts the file into a .magic file, which is a protected version of your original file.

It’s important to note that LockFile does not delete or alter the original file—it simply creates a password-protected version. The original file remains intact, and you can continue to access, modify or delete it as needed.

When you want to unlock the file, you can either double-click or right-click the .magic file and choose the “Demystify” option. You’ll then be prompted to enter the password, which will restore the file to its original state. This process is quick and seamless, ensuring your files remain secure without any hassle.

LockFile makes it easy to control access to your files with no hidden settings or complex encryption software. It’s a straightforward solution to keep your sensitive data safe, while still allowing you the flexibility to manage your files.
